Project of selecting and implementing an ERP system
Our firm began co-operating with Ing. Zdeněk Špelina as a representative of AppliCon-IT, s.r.o. in February 2009. Mr. Špelina worked for us as a project manager as part of a project of selecting and implementing an ERP system in our company (hereinafter called the project).
The project was finished in April 2010 by the signature of a completion certificate with the supplier and it took place according to all contractual parameters, mainly as regards the price and deadline.
Both a QAD ERP system and a Preactor APS system were implemented as part of the project. The implementation was carried out by the Minerva Company.
The system was in full use approx. 3 months after being activated. We see the main benefits of the entire project in the following areas:
1. Making the logistics and capacity planning more accurate and improving the quality thereof
2. Speeding up of the planning process.
3. Easy and quick availability of high-quality information.
4. Shortening of the lead time of a business case.
We see advantages of cooperating with AppliCon-IT primarily in the following parameters.
1. Improving the quality of decision-making processes during the selection of an ERP system
2. Radical reduction of a project price
3. Increase in the quality of the project
4. Creation of a high-quality contracting model
